Of course it’s more likely that the taggers in question managed to do their tagging while the current was much less of the “swept away” variety. Still, there is something about the bravado necessary to enter spaces that society tells us either explicitly or through implication that we should not. Hundreds of people a day will drive by this very spot and never have any idea that these messages exist, that someone took the effort to make their mark so brazenly.
